We had NO idea this place existed. We were our way to catch the new Deadpool & Wolverine movie and stumbled in this deceiving little hole in the wall for lunch. TLDNR: This is hands down the best BBQ in the area! We tried the sausage & pulled chicken which were both very good but the “must try” options are the Brisket Bunt Ends, the Pork Belly Burnt Ends, the Kobe Beef Brisket and the NY Pastrami (something you never see on the menu elsewhere). The meat was tender, juicy and delicious. The sauces were unlike any of the run-of-the-mill fare we’ve tasted elsewhere. If you really love BBQ, put this at the top of your list.
Both my son and I stopped in for lunch, having never been before. It was the day before the 4th of July, around 4:30, and we were the only ones there for a while. The service was pretty laid back, atmosphere was fit for a BBQ joint and the food was incredible! My son had a pulled pork sandwich with the smashed potatoes. I went for a bit more ordering the brisket, pulled pork and ribs with a side of jambalaya, a smoked sweet potato and corn bread. There was enough for to have plenty left over. The meats had a great smokey flavor but certainly not dried out. The brisket and ribs were amazing. The one aspect I would say, to make others aware, is if you are expecting food completely covered in sticky sweet sauce that is not what this is. We were given one type of sauce to add, if we wanted to. It was light, slightly sweet and seemed to have almost an apple flavor incorporated. I enjoyed it and my son said it's the best he has had so far.
Excellent friendly service food was absolutely delicious and a special shout out to the owner Johnny love I highly recommend stopping in and trying out his award-winning brisket tell him Google Ed sent you
